Guns N' Roses: Fags or Rock Legends?

eh, slash could totally beat the shit outta axl. and even if she was gonna call the cops just for music, that isnt a reason to get beaten in the head with a wine bottle. some lady called theatened to call the cops on me today for asking people the go in and buy me some ciggs and id pay give them the money. did i attack the lady? no, i just walked away.

and that old guy was cool. not just cause it was axl, i woulda laughed if it was Kurt, robert plant, or jim morrison. it was just funy as hell. i hope i can be like that old guy one day.

by the way, i have nothing against the original band, i love the music. but i jsut dont like axl. i especially dont like how he kept using the name guns and roses even though he is the only original member. hes just to stupid and uncreative to think up a new name. ya dotn see dave grohl calling his new band Nirvaba, or Robert plant calling his band Led Zeppelin, or Paul Mc Cartny calling his bands the Beatles.

plus bucket head just creeps me the fuck out, looks like Michael Myers from the halloween movies.

Well, the thing is.... Axl has EVERY right to call his new band Guns N'Roses, since he's the founder of the band. Just like Yngwie is fully entitled to called his band Rising Force, and I have every bloody right to call my potential future band the name which my old band was called 10 years ago. Why the heck not?

By the way, you gotta at least give Buckethead credit for his amazing guitar playing and showmanship.

 

i know hes a good guitarist, though not as good as slash. but ive never seen him in a concert. just whenever i see him, it brings back memories of when i was 4 watching Halloween. that movie scared the shit outta me.

No prob, WSC. Patience, my friend. There ARE people who don't like Axl, and nothing can change that fact. Similarly, there ARE people who don't like my music and. again, nothing can change that fact. In the past, I'd either get really pissy about it, or I'd try to do things to make them hate me more. But what I've found out over the years is that, doing either can be really tiring. I have since begun not to care about the opposition as much as I used to. I have since been learning to laugh at them instead of getting mad at them. Really, if I were to laugh at something/someone on this thread..... Well, I'm not even going to get into that, lol.

In the meantime, don't worry, and breathe, just like lakshen said somewhere else(or was that on here?) once.

If you ask me, they are both equally good. But that's just me.

 

of what i heard of the new guns n roses, i dont like bucketheads guitaring. the stuff he writes isnt as good as slash's riffs and solos.

I don't know if it's because I've been awake for too long or something I ate or what the hell but I just spent a good 25 minutes reading through everything before this laughing my ass off the whole way. I'm not going to take sides here and I neutrally voted "neither", but seriously I don't think Jesus Christ himself could have stirred as much controversy as Axl Rose has here, lol. Anyway, thanks for a good laugh everybody.

I don't like them and they suck but I also do not appretiate the word "fag" as it is very offensive to me much more offensive than any swear word could be, the equivalent of the N word being used to black people.

GnR had their time, they came out with 3 great albums.

Like Nirvana however, they didn't achieve enough to become legends.

They deffinetly weren't gay, except for possibly Axl, like, seriously, don't matter that he was married, he wore TIGHT leather jeans, dances like a fag and insisted on swimming with the dolphins in one of the GnR videos.

He also hasn't come out with an album ina decade, nice going bitch monkey.
