Until now, I thought you wanted 'to marry him' for his looks, the life he led or something about Axl himself.
That's like saying you'd fuck ANYONE for their financial or celebrity status.
That makes you fucked up, especially if you intend on carrying out these desires, it will eventually turn you into a power-driven slag with no heart.

i fucking hate axl, and any respect i had for him died when i heard a track from the ten-years-in-progress album chinese democracy, which is essentially axl and a backup band who have the audactiy to call themselves guns 'n' roses. buckethead is cool though.

the music isn't bad, but I just hate him...

And one of my friends is in love with him, looks kinda like him, wants to be him....his gf and I never tell him we hate Axl...lol

 

I love their old stuff, and Slash is the best guitarist ever! Listening to "November Rain" now! Axel WAS cool/hip. Don't have much use for him now.

 

There's a guitar piece at the end of November Rain and I do actually fucking love it, to be fair.

 

First of all, I don't agree with the term "fag", so I wouldn't vote in that category anyway. Second, they are most likely technically rock legends. Third, I like their music, and forth I don't usually like Axl's personality from what I know of it--but that holds true for me with a lot of famous musicians.

 

I love the fact that a solid 3/4 of the people that posted in this thread were either in diapers or had yet to be conceived when Guns & Roses were still around.

Yeah, I know...technically still a band. Axl and his studio musician buddies.

 

I cannot believe I missed seeing this until now. I want to thank everyone who posted in this thread. You lads and lassies gave me the biggest laugh I have had in a long while. As far as my personal opinion goes, I am not a fan and feel there are much, much, MUCH better bands than GNR. I would not choose "fag," as the term is offensive and irrelevant. I do not see how homosexuality is related.
