Excuse me for using the word style.
    You don't understand me correctly.
I have problems with magazine size, types of ammunition, quantity of ammunition, bump stocks, bayonet lugs, certain pistol grips, rate of fire, muzzle brakes, flash suppressors, silencers, grenade launchers, barrel shrouds, muzzle velocity, folding stocks, etc.
Look up what an assault weapon is legally in different jurisdictions.

Several types of semiautomatic weapons are okay, I used to own a few.

Well let's take them one at a time. Bump stocks are illegal. Why do have a fear of flash suppressors?

Yeah that doesn't make much sense to me. I guess people want to see the muzzle fire, but anyone who knows anything about guns knows, the bullet that hits you is the bullet you never saw and the shot you never heard. That's the one that gets you.

My granddaddy taught me that. He said as long as he could hear guns firing around him all day and night he was safe because they weren't hitting him.

That might have been different for allied soldiers though once hell fire and brimstone rained down from those MG42s :D

I've gone over this numerous times in numerous threads.

Bump stocks have only recently been outlawed.

At one time flash suppressors were illegal.

A flash suppressor has a military function, there is no reason a civilian needs one.
The main function of a flash suppressor is to reduce the flash caused by a bullet leaving a shortened barrel, such as a carbine or military weapon. The flash results because the short barrel allows powder to leave the end of the barrel before it's completely burned. The main benefit is achieved when firing during night time or in dark conditions. Without the flash it's much easier to retain your night vision and acquire a target after a shot or a secession of shots.
The secondary function is make the flash from the barrel less visible to an enemy thus helping to avoid the targeting of the shooter.

Let me ask you...why does anyone need a flash suppressor to hunt, target shoot, or protect their home?

Do they hunt at night and have trouble with their night vision? Hunting animals at night is regulated and flash suppressors have never been needed by hunters in the past. I don't believe Danial Boone used one. "Old Tick Licker" was a Pennsylvania Long Rifle, never saw one with a flash suppressor.
Do they shoot multiple rounds at another shooter at night?
Do the deer shoot back at them at night?

A suppressor also makes hunting safe in areas prone to avalanche conditions, would be a reason one uses a suppressor. Me for instance being in the Alps, not using a suppressor could be dangerous or fatal. I'm a civillian.

Let me ask you something. How does a flash suppressor benefit a civilian? Give me an example of a time when a flash suppressor proved to be an advantage to someone who murdered someone else. Even if the user is going on a rampage, how does a flash suppressor make the gun any more dangerous?

Now silencers. How does a silencer make a gun any more dangerous than one without a silencer?

You should complain to the OP. Did you think that his derogatory characterization of gun owners would go unanswered?

You know, it doesn't take a lot of discipline to just avoid this thread.

It's important to note the actual reasoning and requirements behind accessories though.

When such and such wants to label a suppressor as a accessory used to commit foul play, it's important to teach the reasons why one might have one. In my case at least, it isn't so I have an opportunity to commit mass murder, it's purely for safety reasons. Where I live, you'd find it hard to find anybody who didn't use the same accessories. In this instance, we have demonstrated reasoning. Safety for the user along with anybody else in the area.

I'd ask you whether or not you're okay, but your failure to address the topic kind of tells me all I need to know about that.

I'm capable of being a gun owner and not be personally insulted by a threads premise.

So now if I answer the OP, I must be personally insulted? No, I'm not insulted. Would you like it if I didn't respond to the OP's comments?

I'm just here in hopes to read an amusing post about how avalanches are safe. Because I know nobody really ever thinks of that stuff lol. Oh shit, a suppressor can be good for the environment, economy and personal lives and safety? No! It's only used for crime! okay then.. Well now your town is snowballed in. Who's got egg on they face now? You do! You egg face.

Doesn't not going to the Alps hunting in the snow make more sense?

The thing is, this topic has been done to death. I'm really just here specifically for the drama the OP creates by insulting gun owners lol. I need to be entertained and this thread is here for it
I'm not particularly interested in another thread that just repeats what has been repeated ad nauseum in other threads that have literally spanned years and likely will exercise this self discipline you speak of and avoid it when it becomes the same ol same ol arguments
Thanks for your concern, I really appreciate it

Of course, but where I live is permafrost Alps. Still not a good idea to go hunting without a suppressor. :) in fact, illegal in most areas.

That's almost believable . . . if it weren't for: "Oh god is this going to become yet another thread that is just 100 pages of arguing about gun accessories"

I can just link those other threads here and you can read through them first, maybe at least make sure you can present something here that hasn't been repeated a thousand times already?
