Gun ban solution to mass murders?

That's because we aren't socialists like you guys. Yet, anyway.

Personally I don't want any paid leave by the damn government. Same as I don't want welfare benefits or them telling me what to do.

 

The US is about as socialist as the UK.
What has 'socialism' got to do with annual leave?

It's not paid by the government. You do have to work for it. Where I work you get paid for each day the average amount you have earned over 17 weeks (my hours fluctuate). In practice, I get payed about the same as working a couple of weeks. I also have to book them a month in advance, and can easily lose my holidays if I don't use them during the year.
I really wish it was as simple as 28 days on full pay any time I feel like it.

As I’ve said to me being pro-gun is not so much a view in itself but is a symptom of certain attitudes, a certain mentality. There are hints that Sig had to some degree a leaning to such attitudes but as I say he’s refusing to debate.

Anyway I don’t think this is in any way ‘getting it’, it seems to me you have just accepted something while I’d prefer a bit more information.

What do you want him to explain more intently?
You don't seem to want to accept some people have guns 'just in case,' as other have other things 'just in case'.

Yes, pro-gunners want guns out of the hands of criminals but it seems only pro-gunners know how ridiculous it is try and take guns out of the hands of criminals by making it a crime for everybody.

Do you? Criminals in the UK still get guns, where do they get them? Why haven't the anti-gun laws in the UK taken the guns out of the hands of criminals?

How far are you willing to go to achieve that in the UK?
