My dentist recommended gengival graft. Here's a couple informative videos demonstrating the procedure: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pw-rO2TpLms"]Periodontal Microsurgery: Gingival Grafting - YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21vFqLQs_hM"]Upper Right Root Coverage Using Tunnel Technique - YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KcWW_Tm1e54"]Periodontal Microsurgery: Gingival Grafting - YouTube Has anyone tried this surgery? I heard they used it to cure Guantanamo Bay inmates of their horrible gum recession. ⸮You know dirty terrorists don't floss right?
Not tried it or looked into it at all but I have one teeth as well where the gum has retracted a bit. It makes the upper part (that normally would be covered by gum) a bit more sensitive. Nothing surgeryworthy in my case I think!
Mine are not even as bad as what you describe, but they still want me to spend thousands (albeit from my dental plan) on what looks to be an extremely painful surgery.

You better watch out... you might get the wrong race's gums... what will your Aryan brothers think then?
I've got a pretty horrible receding gum problem. I almost definitely need surgery to fix it. For now I just live with it and try to keep it clean and try to stop infections before they really start. Uggghhhh I'm not looking forward to even seeing a dentist about it...
