Clapton, Garcia, Carlos Santana, are my favorites > Neil Young's twang is piercingly great !
Robbie Robertson s sound is unmistakable,and Dylans old folk music with his harp is special.
Duane Allman's slide changed the way a slide was played- fantastic stuff !!!

I'm so happy someone else admires Eric Erlandson's guitar-playing, and on Pretty On the Inside, no less. I agree with you completely, the guitar sound on that album is just something else. It's beautiful noise.

 

Holy crap, I didn't expect a reply since so few people know that album. Beautiful noise is exactly the word to describe it. Hopefully someday I'll be able to make something on that level.
