I have not watched the vid but I assume that guitarist got payed and was on there voluntarily making music with Lady Gaga. So I don't understand why this is any issue for you.
And if you dislike her music and shows, why pay attention to it? It's like you think this is a serious threat for guitar music or something Guitarists and guitar orientated music is still considered cool by many. Sounds like you're focussing on the wrong stuff.
