Guitarists who can't read music but can make sense of tablature should feel proud. Lute and early guitar was primarily written in tab not notation, so we are part of a grand tradition.

 

I do tabs... I can't play any other instrument... been playing a lot of acoustic at home lately...

I was gonna say that but remembered my mate used to play bass with a pick and I am sure I read about at least one famous bass player that did !

Chad Ubovich of Fuzz, uses one on his Bass quite a bit.

 

I love playing my guitar, acoustic lately by really doesn't matter... I've never even really tried playing bass... kind of think I might try dabble...

 

I often just sit and stare at mine...I can't get over how beautiful she is. Curves like a Woman, she can play herself...
