guess what I saw

One day I was driving down Hwy 58 and I saw Ken Kesey's bus driving along in front of us. It was cool.

 

One day I was driving here, nearby... and saw a bunch of Hell's Angels bikers drive by... together with my vice principle on his Harley... that was cool.

 

Who's Ken Kesey?

 

Ken Kesey is this hippie writer dude who lived pretty close to where I am. He wrote "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest". He died a few years ago

 

the other night, i was escorted home by motorcycling lovelies. it was good too, because i was driving tired and high.

 

I love One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Has anyone else read it?

That's very cool... one day I was working at a bookstore and I saw Richard Dreyfuss. On a completely separate occasion, I saw Anthony Keidis (sp?) - lead singer of Red Hot Chili Peppers - at IKEA.

 

Right on. Were they the Po-Po's?

 

Wow, I thought everyone had heard of Ken Kesey. Especially from California.

 

By the way, the bus was called Further.

I saw Moon Unit Zappa sitting in a cafe in Santa Barabra (she smiled at me, wanna touch my robe?) Also had lunch with Mickey Dollans' ("hey hey we're the Monkees") sister (she's cool).

 

omg you people never heard of Further? or the Merry Pranksters?? I SO wish i coulda gone on that bus...they went to Woodstock! In fact in a couple yrs, Im going to buy a bus or van, paint it really weird and psychedelic colors and go on a road trip with some HipForums people. If you seriously wanna go, tell me! Doesnt matter who you are, anyone can go

 

man i love kesey. oh this was cool. once in english we had to pick a writer out of a hat and do a report on them, and i got ken! woo that was awesome!
