The limelight is a fickle thing. One day you're popular enough to be on the cover of Time, the next nothing...

It's a little sad and I feel sorry about it. But you can't be famous forever.

One day people are going to be able to look back and remember Greta Thunberg. She's a pretty wonderful woman, imo... Very young, charismatic, a leader. She's really cool.

 

Maybe she can find something useful to do with her life. Something to cheer her up and instill a sense of accomplishment. I feel bad for her being used as a tool and wish her the best.

well, I think it's not about the girl, the problem is really actual nowadays and it is more important to think about the situation not about the child who made it 'popular'

It's not her fault. It's the weird multinational megacorporation rich left wing media perpetrating their nonstop lies and bias, and the gullibility of listeners who believe if it's called news it must be truthful. They've driven many, including this poor child, to be divisive and fearful. And to believe it's okay to be disrespectful, even violent, to gain power over the people. They incite hate for right-leaning people because they know those people tend to implement systems which most often lead to better results for the general population than what their blindsided emotional response does. And whoever gains the popularity of the people ends up with a lavish lifestyle so honesty goes out with the bath water with these leftists, leaving mayhem and chaos in the wake. Their approach demonstrated that they literally don't care if cities burn and are left looted, people injured and dying in the streets. Then they outright lie as they try to pin the blame on their political opponents and try to convince you they're evil. When the argument isn't convincing, smears are the only way to emotionalize the people who are gullible to the tactics. All simply to gain power, to feed their egos and pocketbooks. So, learn to cast a discerning eye else risk falling for the great deception!

 

The change in earths climate is not a joke. It’s a serious man made disaster looming ever greater as corporate fossil fuel industries discard our children’s future in the name of greed. There is not a shred of scientific evidence that the models are wrong. At the current rate of change its apparent there is no economic asset that can compensate even those of the near future. As far as Greta goes...doesn’t take much of a man to beat up on a young visionary.
