Seems to be coming exclusively from middle aged men though.

Jeremy Clarkson had something to say, how does a twat like that get to that age and not realise how its going to sound if he's picking on a 16 yr old girl. And Clarkson has a daughter too

Thats what it boils down to though. Thats why it seems to be mostly older gents being most vocal about her. Trump, Clarkson etc

You remember your daughter at that age, others your age see their grandaughters, she should be protected

Because she has a bit of an attitude and female she must have mental issues or its going to take a mental toll supposedly.

If she was a 16 yr old he instead. No one would think that shit. Youd think he was a liitle smartarse

I dont put much faith in climate change "science" any faith really. But we are at a point where with garbage/plastic pollution drastic measures do have to start now

No, thats the way I have always thought

Climate change and pollution are two very different things

Climate change science is garbage science

Pollution on the other hand is simple as looking at Sydney harbour. But its individuals not governments.

Yet the solution lies not with individuals at all, not even partly (according to you).

Despite the narrative pushed by media and children who could star in horror movies, not everyone is onboard with Agenda: Climate Change. But few protest climate change laws quite like these Dutch farmers, who traveled to a Hauge protest not in their cars, but in their tractors. The government tried impeding tractor travel by putting up fences. But obviously those in government haven’t a clue about tractors, which are basically tanks minus the guns. Check out these videos and tell me Dutch farmers aren’t inching their way up your spirit animal totems:..
Over 2000 dutch farmers are protesting.
The government put up fenced to keep them out. Janna//Mingi's biceps tho❤ on Twitter

Meanwhile: farmers drive over those fences with their tractors and cause around 1100km traffic jams around the big cities

We love farmers. No farmers =no food#boerenprotest

The liberal Mayor of Hague (Netherlands) thought that he could stop the #FarmersProtest against elitist "Climate Change Taxes" by setting up roadblocks.

I guess he failed to realize that tractors are small tanks that don't need roads to go wherever they want BasedPoland on Twitter

They don't protest climate change in particular, Orison. They protest the dutch government changing policies too often.

Farmers around the world are retreating from urban areas, due to tractors and traffic not mixing well, and all the other problems you can imagine. Those who have a single large plot of land that isn't divided by roads tend to fare better, but its never ideal. The only reason for them to hold out is frequently they are waiting for the suburb developers to offer a better price for their land.

The great dust bowel was created by farmers who laughed at academics who offered to show them how to cheaply and easily prevent it. They simply have no desire or motivation to join the rest of the human race.

In the tiny but agricultural advanced Netherlands it's bound to mix and both sides have to give in. It's doable, but if there's more space there are other solutions. Thing is: the Netherlands doesn't have more space. But their farmers produce a shitload (mostly for export).

The first robots have already become popular with small businesses and begun to invade agriculture as well. Farmers as we know them are becoming an endangered species and, according to all the evidence, the way we grow food is unsustainable and has to change dramatically anyway. The complaints of the farmers are like those of everybody else, that the world is simply changing too fast in some ways, and too slow in others, with people being the slowest to change. We needed a theory of everything half a century ago, and I'm afraid modern civilization is dragging their feet on the issue, but the technology itself is about to steamroll over everyone and leave us no choice, because nature doesn't accept no for an answer.

Technological advancement and developments DO give us more choice. Placing your money as an entrepreneur on one kind of development and investing in that of course makes one get stuck and dependant on that system. What you (woolee) say about farmers sounds too generalized. Hope you ment it as a generalisation otherwise there's much to nuance.

Farmers are people, like anybody else, and if you throw them into the same pile of crap they will all complain, just some louder than others. Civilization has infantilized everyone, exaggerating childish thoughts, feelings, and behaviors which are increasingly counterproductive in the modern world. The Dutch, for example, are infamous for having the highest suicide rates in the western world, and for being workaholics who tend to leave nasty notes blaming their bosses. Obviously, their society makes an enormous amount of money and is as corrupt as any other in some ways. No doubt their population is imploding along with the white population of the EU and US, and you can call that healthy all you want, but somebody has to talk plain English about these things and stop spouting polite technobabble.

The technology is about to change how the entire civilized world views itself, and there will be nothing polite about the process. Our own computers are about to make millions of people feel about as stupid as it gets. Not because our technology is so incredibly advanced, but because civilization has systematically turned a blind eye to its own flaws, and our technology is simply making it increasingly impossible to do so any longer. Our own money grubbing ways are about to slap everyone in the face with the reality of just how stupid we have made ourselves.

I can do a Rubic's Cube in my head, but that doesn't mean I'm not an idiot, just that I can do fancy tricks.

I'm going to guess the one in the bottom right as she looks like the only one that could actually say that without being physically reprimanded or killed.
