Welcome, SCS! Good to see another boomer here! :)

I'm a songwriter, too, although I haven't composed anything for a few years. Maybe it's time to revisit that hobby.

Very nice to make your acquaintance and thank you for the introduction. What is the title of your personal favorite song you've composed and what is the song about?

Welcome man, ages 50-60 is the best well-done time for the mind. The human mind at these years has a powerful thought in any subjects, so, enjoy the rest of your life before getting too old and losing your life.

Hello PGA. Thank you for the message and agree this is a key age of life. In my 20s and early 30s I felt as in a physical prime. Now in this phase of life I feel my mind is in a prime state and working to engage it meaningfully and productively. And still feel there is much to learn and do and engaging the mind keeps it strong.

The reality is there is a really really big universe. We haven't begun to discover even a fraction of what that entails...

But we never will. Do we endeavor to? It may be more practical to explore the "practicality", for lack of a better word, of space. Can we put a military base on the moon? Does it belong to America? What can we interpret about alien radio transmission?

I think the answer is that they are too far away to be practical or relevant considerations.

    And my answer was "no".

Thank you Nooka. The image doesn't show up for me, not sure if it's based on my newbie status but in any case Thank you for taking the time to introduce yourself and welcome me here.
