Green Party Animal

    I just noticed this..



    The Green Party in the US does not have a party animal.


    Democrats have the donkey, because Andrew Jackson's opponents called him the Jackass. And the party adopted the jackass.


    Republicans have the elephant because in an early newspaper illustration, an elephant was shown representing the grand old party.


    Libertarians have the porcupine. Because it's a peaceful animal that minds its own business, but will defend itself if you mess with it.


    What would be a good animal for the Green party?

    Being the party that stands against climate change, they kind of have all the animals.

    But yeah, frog was my first thought too.
