i'm getting a PS3 for the following reasons: Blu Ray Player 60 Gig Media storage [Music, Movies, Pictures, Etc.] Plays Normals DVD's Plays Mp3 Cd's Upconverts normal DVD's [for those who understand that] Comes with HDMI out straight out of the box DVD remote available Then gaming The PS3 is hands down the best media center available on the market for the price, if you need somthing that does all of the above the playstation is far and beyond the 360, the updates Sony releases are also amazing, adding Codec drivers, Blue Ray and DVD converters, as well as sound enhancement for me it was a no brainer to make it as my main media center for my home theatre
I prefer the Wii's Virtual Console for old school downloadable content, although you have to pay for downloads on the VC, i'm very happy with it oh and to make somthing clear, NOTHING will ever take the spot of PC gaming for me, As soon as i'm able to I will be buying Falcon Northwests "Bragging Rights" PC, which is 18,000$ PC gaming to me is just so far and beyond any experiance you can have on a console [excluding a few for me, Ocaraina of Time, and alot of N64 and SNES games] I'd say in my/my families history of computers, by the time we got Cable internet we were on our forth PC, and The computer i'm currently typing this post on is probably the 11th PC we've ever had [possibly more]
I totally agree. Have you played any Operation Flashpoint, or the new Armed Assualt? Best war games ever. The military actually uses the game engine for training.
^ i'm getting really burnt out with War games, especially modern era stuff, mostly been playing Battlefield:2142 also Warcraft 3, and Bioshock, Bioshock is NUTS, definatly an awsome game for a new release
I bought Bioshock for PC the day it came out. It kicks so much ass. The downside to it is that even though I'm running a dual core machine with a 512mb geforce 7300 gfx card and 2gigs of ram, I still have to dull the settings quite a bit to get it at a good stable frame rate. But yeah, about consoles. Just none of them really seem worth buying. The Ps3 only has like 2 good games, the 360, which has great games but is designed horribly making it prone to the red ring of death, and the Wii which is fun at first but lacks games with good graphics and overall, lacks good games. PC ftw. I plan to save for something in the geforce 8 series and getting another gig of ram as soon as I can. Afterall, I can't miss out on crysis...
Operation Flashpoint is what would have happend if the Cold War turned hot. I've heard mix results about Bioshock
^ 9/11 of the computers we've had we've built [although built by definition:to select parts, not nesacarially assemble yourself] I would say we've stayed fairly current Best system in the house [mine] 2 X SLI BFG Invida Geforce 8600 OC GTS Intel Core 2 @ 3.4ghz 2.0Gig ram 2nd oldest machine: AMD Core 64 3.4 DDR2 PC6200 2.0gig ATI Radeon 1900GT 256mb
Nice. You can save like 400 dollars just ordering the parts and putting them together. It's really not hard at all. Slap an OS on it and ur good to go. Hows the AMD run? I ordered one last year. Soppose to be at 2.7 gig, I clocked it at about 2 lmao.
badly..since we've been renovating our house the room it's in is like direct source of dust, so the video card is like fucked, so much shit wrong with it, i'm gonna have to clean it up really well before i format it
First pic with that bracelet tells me u didnt do much to get that set up. Payback is a bitch. hahahahha what do i know, im just someone online, jajajajajhahahahahhaha
uh i did set it up, there wasnt much to it, take out of box, take the soft bag off, put down, plug in and b0000m fucking miracle. dude its not like i built a house its just simple electronics
yea man it's stupid it's a quality rig but it's used by like everyone so, so much shit on it, spyware etc. all makes it useless will fix it up good shortly and hopefully run better than it is now lol
Everyone needs Ad-Aware and Ccleaner. Run all the shit on thouse two. Should be runnin' smooth as hell again.
