I like the Doors a lot because they are always good no matter what mood you're in. Especially when mixed with weed and/or mushrooms.

I voted for Floyd, because they were the band that really opened my eyes to rock and roll. But I absolutely love almost every other band on the list (except AC/DC & Aerosmith, I think that they both suck).

Blind faith. If they would have stayed together longer they would have all the votes. After them is Stones.Look at their entire body of work, truely amazing stuff and all still good. There is no range of stuff that comes close.Revisit Between the buttons album or "high tide and green grass" for some soulful music

Son of a bitch making me choose between the Beatles and the Grateful Dead...I guess....I'll vote for GD because I kinda got tired of the Beatles after a little while (yet still have some days when they're all I can listen to :))

For this poll, at least, I'll say next in line is the Doors, although Janis Joplin takes that spot in reality.

I'd probably say the Rolling Stones, especially if they had ended in the 70's

theGrateful Dead is probably the 456,987 best band ;)
