Robert mitchum? Tommy lee jones? Pacino Daniro who cares.. all great Occams fav at moment is Christian Bale Occam
They're all good in their own way, but I have to write in Jack Nicholson as my all time favorite actor. If I must choose from the list however, I'd go with Robert DeNiro as my favorite.
JAMES SPADER?....oh lordy. Gimme your call on best spader movie,, watched supernova and he was average. Seen him many times,,, average. Did occam miss something? AN examlpe, spader could never have played bourne. Occam
Best Spader movie must be Crash. Other notables are Keys to Tulsa, Two Days in The Valley; Secretary; Less than Zero; Jack's Back; Critical Care; Wolf... well, all of them, really, EXCEPT Supernova!
Mary Hahahahaa will rewatch some of them,, if remember right, 'less than zero' was pretty good. Dont have anything against him , seems like a competent actor, has very distinctive face. This is a good thing for an actor Unless you are marty feldman. lol. He sets a resonance with me between him and christian bale.. dunno why.. But bale got some real good calls with equlibrium and batman begins. Both have a spot intensity,, with a laid back interlude. [in scenes.] I think spader would have been real good in 'paycheck' might have lifted a good story from the avrgae that Ben 'aFLECK' [of dust] mannaged. Occam
Well razorofoccam I suppose it is not really fair to call Spader the best all round American actor, as he tends not be in films that are not in the mainstream at all. I can't see any similarities in acting style or personal apperance between him and Bale, but then again I don't know Bale very well. So Spader gets my vote as the best ALTERNATIVE American actor. How's that?
Mary Sent you a PM but im a retard so may not ever arive. Hey his connection to bale is MY world, you dont know it. My subjective world is a thing that would truely frighten JUNG. Love Piglet
Christ - I see my sentence went all garbled: I meant he tends not to be in mainstream movies at all.... See - I go crazy when discussing Le Spade! *faints*
Mary Ah 'le spade'.. Much like 'de sade'. hehehe And all the little children danced around the maypole and sang songs of joy. For they all love Le Spade. Oink
