Google Tensor: Everything We Know About Google's AI Workload Crusher | HotHardware Google moved into the Pentagon, and is suddenly chipping in their own two cents worth, just as AMD, Intel, Nvidia, and Apple are all starting to brag about stomping each other into the dirt. Their tensor technology is well known, and they're essentially just developing their own hybrid chips for cellphones that sip power. The more interesting aspect, is that their tensors are good for embedded AI. Basically, AI is the future, is already being integrated into the hardware of every chip, and will eliminate almost all of our current hardware problems, but everyone will now start fighting over who gets to control the web with cellphones. In the long run, Reservoir Computing looks to make their entire approach obsolete, and Google is not famous for actually making things, but makes too much money to admit it.
