lots of names which have gone have then been resurected. one thing i remember i'm reasonably sure won't be, are candy cigarettes. anybody remember those?
a lot of the candy that was sold only in movie houses seemed to have dissappeared for a while and is now in stores.

machinery that's designed to make a particular product sometimes wears out.

oh i remember aba zaba, which was a long bar of hard white nugat with a caramel and i think peanut, center. something like that anyway.
and there was something else the same shape that i think was called big bite or big something.

i remember when dentine was the only sugar free gum. now double mint seems to be the only one that has real sugar instead of aspertame.

the standard chocklet bar which is now a dollar or more, was ten cents when i was a kind, and five cents when my parents were. around the time i was 30, they went up to 20 cents.

Those standard chocolate bars were fifty cents when I was little.

For a little while, they made cookies and cream Twix. To th I s day it is my favorite candy, but I haven't seen them in nearly thirty years.

Oh yes, we ate the hell out of those, they were one of the really cheap candies...we pretended to smoke them too, bad bad stuff to be perpetrating on young minds. They were crappy candy to boot.
There were chewing gum cigars too. The banana ones were good. lol
