I don't remember how to do it, but I remember it's easy once you get it... Why don't you look it up? I'm sure you can find instructions online on how to graph it...

As far as everyone referring to google, I already PM'd her this when she asked me before I saw the thread... if you all would care to elaborate if you wish... this is what she is referring to that I used as an example. To sum it up, I don't mean to be rude, but if you're going to help, help, if you're not going to and you're going to be a pain and state the obvious and especially if you live in Honduras, don't waste your breath, there's room for you over here.... http://www.mostannoyingwebpage.com

All the instructions online look more complicated than they are and frankly they hurt my eyes :) I tried, believe me, you are all my last hope! But you are all being a great help so far and its coming to me slowly but surely. I'm just going to keep trying and asking my questions.

Yeah, that doesn't ring any bells and I have a feeling its fairly significant in the way the graph turns out.

Well, to be brief... we all try sometimes... haha, but it won't do your homework.

I know, and in the end it doesn't matter, but unfortunately with the freedom that choice brings, there is also consequence and because I do not desire negative consequence I am choosing to attempt my math and have it done for tomorrow :)

Don't you just like pull some of the numbers out of your ass or something? Like just make up a series of numbers for Y to figure out X, as it just changes it's position on the Y axis or something....

But what do I put in the space for y? What equation? Would I put in (for instance) y= x(squared)+3x-10 or would I put in its factors?

I'm not sure that that's graphing quadratics exactly, but that seems familiar to me. (referring to S||C)

Actually, you make up numbers for x ( in this case -10 to +10) and then, somehow the y part comes out automatically.

I'm pretty much as light as I can be, but you've got to be to the point without putting the stress on others and I'm trying to prevent any arguments from occuring... like I said, I try.

Choose x values from -10 to +10 and draw y axis from -15 to +10) <--- like it says, choose the values and input them into whatever to make the table....
so you would have like -10 | and whatever the erquation or whatever would be with -10 as X, then say -5 | and -5 as X etc... Or something like that... I think...

We all have the right to speak freely, and we all have the right to an education. All of us can learn to conduct ourselves in this manner without conflict. We need to focus on maintaining this while being to the point....

    back to quadratics...

I'm pretty sure you only need either 3 values or 5... May be 5...
