lol Dude, who the fuck cares? Such a fucking childish post, but wait, all yours are! Anyways I will probably buy grand theft auto. I have a 360 but I dont like video games really, with the exception of sports games, but from what I'm hearing this is like a must have. 60$ for any thing you play with on a TV is too damn much. In fact, the best quality of my xbox 360 is the full screen visualizer, which is the most amazing I have ever seen, and probably the only thing on the damn system I use fairly often.
^ ITS ONLY because of the prices though, as time goes on u will need more hddvds to fit something on, and i doubt the next gta will work well on say 2-3 discs, while blurray will have no probs
I doubt it will need 2-3 HDDVDs I doubt it will use all the space on one do you realize how much information 30 GB is?
thats what ppl said about cd's when the switch from floppies was made, in time the hddvd will become too cramped, that time will be earlier than blu. i remember how on ps1 most games were just wall papers, like buildings were rectangles with a brick finish and w/e wallpaper over it. then on ps2/pc some games got proper textures inside the game, i think the future is actual objects, no wallpapers, but everything just being really realistic. its hard to explain- i though of it while stoned and it makes sense to me now still. in order to have really awesome graphics with no building alike, no car looking exactly the same (different shades, deformations, mods etc) it will take alot of space. ps. i didnt mean this gta now, but the next one and the next ones after that. oh and anyone every heard of nanobite? i just had it in my head for ages and dont know where it came from, i dont think it even exists
''1.5 How much data can you fit on a Blu-ray disc? A single-layer disc can hold 25GB. A dual-layer disc can hold 50GB. To ensure that the Blu-ray Disc format is easily extendable (future-proof) it also includes support for multi-layer discs, which should allow the storage capacity to be increased to 100GB-200GB (25GB per layer) in the future simply by adding more layers to the discs.'' http://www.blu-ray.com/faq/#bluray_capacity_data thats a disc that would be able to hold more than a 360, more than most ppls pc harddrives and deffo more than 30gb.
yes, but for now HDDVD is all that is needed and we will be a generation or two before BluRay is needed you are spossed to go up the ladder a step at a time
haha im getting a ps3 for my birthday, and the price isgonna drop 2morrow by 100 bucks or about 50 pounds. also hmv is selling a 60gb ps3 for 429.99 with a free game lol. ill get 500 quid so ima save up 100 pounds more and get the 600mb 8th series nvidia card. ill be set for a few yaers hooray. im just saying that ms isnt so sure about hddvd if theyre allready talking about a blu ray drive for 360.
