Oh come on, that kicked ass! I liked that he fell like a cross with the blood coming out of his sleeve, holding his lighter. I thought it was a pretty great movie, not his best, but it was very good. It's very simple in many ways, however there are some deep threads weaved within.
i thought it sucked. I think the only reason why i sat through the whole thing was because clint is a good actor. I thought everyone else in that movie was aweful. The girl, i dont even remember her name and i just watched haha, sounded like a girl in some kind of tolerance movie one would have to watch in a highschool health class or something. I dunno i was really dissapointed.
Is this the first movie Clint Eastwood ever died in? I thought the movie was alright,,,it is worth watching.
Yeah, Sue, or something. Her mom's name was Boo. Anyway, I agree. No teenage girl would act like that toward an old man. Unless it was Clint Eastwood. Ha. How he fell in a cross was cool, but I really wanted him to kick some azn ass. Were they Bloods or something? They were always wearing some kind of red when they appeared onscreen.
uggg I hated this movie. Bad actors, stupid story line, horrible directing. I thought it was a comedy at first. I can understand trying to get the audience to undertstand that he's a racist, miserable prick that just lost his wife *rolls eyes *yawn, but c'mon! I started to get a little uncomfortable with gook this, and zipperhead that, after awhile. OMG and the ending Palease. If this is Clints last movie I'm embaressed for him. LOL Imagine after everything he's done in his career,Million Dollar Baby for christ sakes... THIS movie will be the one they talk about... sigh Oh wait... I guess it was cool that he hired a bunch of nobodys to play all the roles. Too bad they couldn't act worth shyte
You're right about the acting, it sucked pretty bad. However, I still enjoyed the movie. It kind of reminded me of Slingblade.
Yeah, agreed. Eastwood reminded me of my grandpa in this movie. Not that he's an old racist or anything, but how he helped that kid out. He's always doing stuff like that for me.
I watched it with my 16 year old son, we both loved it...I'm a 63 year old white guy, my son is adopted from Peru. As Clint became closer to Tao (sp) Toad, my son was gradually getting a little physically closer until he was kind of shoulder to shoulder with me. Sweet moment. Simple plot...yeah maybe, but a damn pure theme. Old men owe a debt to the young and if the young can appreciate the opportunity sometimes presented it becomes a win-win situation. Thanks Clint ya grouchy old bastard.
i really liked this movie if you dont understand why they ended it the way they did then you obviously didnt get the movie.
i just saw this...and fuck this movie KICKS ASS...i don't have much else to say except this movie was incredible!!!
I thought it was pretty good. I really liked Clint's character. The only downfall for me was the ending.
Also think this is a kick ass movie. Cool that Clint didn't kill anybody. Shows folks is folks - there is more to making family than skin color.
