i used to laugh when my grandma said that kids grow up fast....now i understand what she meant. my oldest starts grade 1 tomorrow! she is over-the-moon excited about going. she can't wait to meet all of her new classmates and dive headlong into leaning to read and speak french. i'm very glad that she is so excited but i can't help feeling a little sad. jeepers! letting go can be hard! any of you other mamas out there feel a little bit of the blues sending your darlings off to school for the first time?
i haven't had to do so yet but i already know i'm going to have a hard time with it. stay strong and think of all the fun things your lil one will bring home, art work, knowledge, etc. !!
