Well, most folk in the UK are sort of alkie to one degree or another. I personally don't drink too much but I do tend to binge out a bit too much. Making booze even more expensive will not stop me from doing that, people in the UK drink so much largely because the weather is so fucking miserable all the time....

I also binge out to compensate for sleeping and dietary problems that I always find affect me when I am working. I like to keep myself fit and healthy and in good shape, but work and shit weather just drags me down eventually and that is when I start drinking too much.

 

McLeod, you do know that most scotch made in Scotland is aged in leftover barrels from the American Bourbon Industry. Absolute fact. Look it up.
