Got any travel plans this year?

If I would use the computer all day you might have a point. I only use a phone to post here btw but still, i see what you're trying to say. Why it comes across as a rhetoric argument more so than a serious point is of course how much my computer or phone use adds to this pollution in comparison to (esp. shorter and frequent) air travel.

 

Its a consideration as to why you fly over there at least 2 times a year to do pretty much the same thing as at home. I know it was confronting and blunt. No, it did not validate most of your stupid responses

Anyway I’m looking to do some traveling.
Only other country besides the US I’ve been to is England, so I really would like to extend my reach so the McFuddy Empire can expand. I need breathing room.

 

How do you know what I do on holiday ? and even if you did again what right do you have to Criticize my choices

Well I'm leaving it to the kids.. growing up in the 60s, we had fuck all.. we were told to work hard, we did.. now I'm reaping the benefits of over 40 years..
Spending holidays in the UK is crap! So I took my money to another country.. now I can fly over to Spain when ever I want.. so stuff Brexit.. stuff global warming.. and I hope my kids, grandkids etc etc will have lots of holidays in Spain for the next 100 years..
I've had cancer twice, probably the asbestos temp buildings they knocked down and burnt right next door.. my parents both died of cancer.. and I'm to worry about how global warming will affect us? Stuff it.. enjoy life.. each generation should do their bit.. but you don't have to change your life.. do your bit.. mine... I don't do plastics.

Morrow, do you think im against you being in Spain for sixth months or something? I already stated i don't. Does the details on how you travel to Britain in between matter? Yes, i would say they do. Especially if you do it frequent.

 

It's kind of amusing to watch people argue on a small internet forum about things none of us can do anything about, or get to a position to even vaguely influence people in the real world.

To be fair, and I do see what you’re saying, I’ve definitely reconsidered opinions and even changed them from what I’ve read and discussed here.

When emotions are running, though, the conversation really becomes about something else entirely, IMO.

Well, I don't give a fuck if you take me seriously. You're fatalistic attitude is not really becoming though. I sincerely think using stuff like meat, computers and transportation responsibly is the way to go. Quitting them all together is not necessary.
If we all would be responsible consumers we would make an enormous change for the better. But you apparently don't see the point because you still see too less other people who do so. This doesn't make you neutral on this issue btw, it makes you a part of the problem
