was anyone else there? i thought it was better than woodstock, the year before! then a couple years later there was that 'bull island' disaster...anyone else make it to bull island?
Goose Lake was an excellent festival. It's now a campground we go to every so often. The speaker towers are still there!
I was a 17 year old hippie/musician in 1970. Went to Goose Lake Fest with a few friends. It was unbelievable. I don't think anyone who wasn't there could have any idea how big it actually was. Certainly an eye opening experience. Everything fresh and new. It was an awesome time to be young and free. Will never forget it.
