Goodstock 2007

I'd suggest Tennessee, but it won't happen since we already have Bonnaroo.

Goodstock 2007 is still in the planning stage, but making great progress. How do I know this? Because I will be there providing great googly moogly Psyche' Eye Candy with Mind Garage. Make no mistake, there will be things never before seen and oh yeah... it may not be for the faint of heart...laffs. I won't say too much, but anyone who knows what I'm referring to will understand... the rest well... keep ya hands in pockets and watch da stuffa come out...grinnnnzzzzzz.

I can think of no better place to have Goodstock then Heaven. I can't wait to see all of y'all there. Up close and personal and all the huggin'.. OHH Yeah!! We're gonna have a big time. Three Daze of Music and Fun Fun Fun. Dress up or down it's your choice. Just plan to be there and relive some good ole Rock n Rollin' times. It will be a gas.

A Celebration of Life. A time to put aside ill will and gather in unity. A time to demonstrate the freedom and brotherhood we had back in the day when we stood up and just said NO MORE WAR!! No More Draft. We want Peace. A time to rekindle a more peaceful path then the one that has been trodden for so long. It's a time we can regain our dignity and show that we have not faded into the past but are still vital and usefull and we aren't finished just yet.

i hope it happens!!! i was a 17 year old flower child in 1967!!! my parents tried to "reform" me by sending me to an israeli kibbutz for 2 months....that only made me get more extreme in my views

 

As it stands now GoodStock 2007 will be held in WV at Earthmothers. Thank you Earthmother.

We are still needing donations to bring in the big bands like Jeffferson Starship and the Moody Blues.

And thank you all so much for the ones that have already donated, your guest pass's will be ready soon.

BTW for thoes concerned. The TICKETS will NOT be overpriced and there will be plenty of refreshments. No one will go hungry or go thristy. This is about Brotherhood and Music not MONEY.

This is a reunion. A time to gather and be somebody. A place to wave your freek flags HIGH and be proud of what we have brought to the council circle.

We are working with a few volenters none of which has promise of pay. Most of the bands we have contacted asked Where and When not how much. If it were a marketing devise to make money off of our brothers and sisters, I wouldn't have put in almost two yrs of my time, love or effort.

This resonated with me. This GoodStock Festival. It made me hungry for the unity I shared with so many, so long ago. It brought back to me the pure love that formed us all into what is called Hippie.

Can you see us now, in mass's. Standing together sharing an event of a life time. We will all be there with Flowers in our hair and love in our hearts. Our wide eyes shinning gazing upon the splendor of GODs Earth and the treasures within.

The music is what always lead us. It was the message in the song. It is our Legacy to the world. To be able to recapture that time, if only for a few amazing days it would give our generation of Hippies a chance to finish (in style) of what we started so many yrs ago. To show the world that "When Love is Love it dont fade away'

If we can hold on for just a little longer, perhaps it will bring the energy we need to make the changes that are necessary to bring back our humanity and think as a whole instead of always the little me.

Well folks, I pray you be at GoodStock and be a part of the change.

SANTANA must be there!

 

I am in the process of contacting Carlos Santana, He is from my old stomping area in Orange County Ca. His comtribution to GoodStock 2007 would be absoluetly amazing if he were to accept our invatation to attend.

GoodStock will not be limited to national bands, there will be an 'Open Mic" stage in Goodstock Village where any band can sign up to play on location.

The Rainbow will be there with their Kitchens along with other vendors. We are trying to keep this as less commecial as possible. That's one of the reasons we are asking for contributions from private sources. If the people want it, it will happen. The Green Energy will flow in and everyone will be satisfied. It's up to all of us to manifest GoodStock2007. It will be beneficial to all.

Every one is invited to attend, every group/band that had a part of changing minds/hearts back when we were guided by the message in the song. This being a grand reunion they should all attend to give the world another chance to see that LOVE is the way to Peace.

What a glorious reunion it will be.

Is there anymore news about GoodStock?? This is the best idea I've heard. I really hope that it comes together. I've got chills just thinking about it!!!

 

We are waiting with bated breath, whatever that means.

 

Please don't invite any metal bands. But I'd suggest getting a few unknown bands, just to give them exposure.

WV isn't too far away from me. I might go. Depends on what happens.

 

Heavy Metal and Rap will not be on the agenda. Perhaps a song or two if it relates to what GoodStock2007 represents No Rap tho. Rap is too violent and does not resonate with what GoodStock is. Besides it is not within the theam of the 60's and 70's era.

There will be an open mic stage for anyone that wants to play within the terms that we have the final approval of the material being played. Not censership just staying with the guidlines of the theam.

We need volenteers from every state to help promote Goodstock2007. Local radio and TV networks all need to be contacted. Posters and flyers need to be placed. We will have all the information in a few weeks.

Right now we need need seed money to pay for the bands to get to GoodStock. Each $100.00 donation will include a Ticket and the rest will go towards getting the bands here and lodged.

Our hope is that we can manifest GoodStock2007 with the help of the people themselves. Like we did in the daze of the Be-Ins and the Love-ins that were accuring world wide.. now days, with insurance, security, construction, transports, deposits, permits, ect. the costs are there and have to be addressed, there is no way around them.

BTW.. don't let my personallity get in the way. GoodStock2007 is not about me or Larry or any one enity, it's about the Music and the Message that it carried. The Unity and Brotherhood of that era we are trying to recapture, in hopes that it will light a light of Love and Peace through the world.

WE need a reminder of what we all stood for. We need to get back to the garden in our own hearts and celebrate life to the fullest, even if it is just for a few wonderful days, we will carry the feeling with us always.

Well POD, I have been known to get, shall we say a bit fiesty , inflamed with passion even. Not every one may agree on my methodologly and that's cool. I don't always agree on theirs. But GoodStock stands on it own merrit and will suceed with or without me.

I just hope everyone gets to go. It would be a trip beyond the 60's. Knowing what we know today, like Forty yrs later and being able to apperciate it more bc we understand more, we have grown, we have gotten stronger in our beliefs not weaker.

We all must work towards this event to manifeat it into being.. Can you imagain POD what it would be like to be surrounded in likemindedness and all brothers and sister standing together in all our glory. Sharing and helping, teaching and learning. And the MUSIC, ahhh the music..Every person that lived through the 60's/70s and the ones that came up during that era will shine like stars. The whole Hippie Nation gathered to send great healing energy to the earth and it's inhabitance.

What seeds we can plant, seeds that grow strong in truth and right thinking. The seeds of knowledge that there is a better way, there is hope for the future generations.

Everyone says thay want to do something, everyone asks themselves how can I make a difference. GoodStock is a way to express and fulfill that need, that yearning inside.A chance to make a change in how people look at their life and if it is a celebration or a chore. GoodStock2007 will bring that vib home to us. It will fill our hearts with love and fun, music and dancing for joy.

It could happen with GoodStock, it is happening NOW for all involved.. Get involved, be somebody, do something. It's in the doing of it that creates it into reality.

It's been in the doing for a while now, so.. get ready for the ride of a life time. Cuz it's coming.

Update on Donations: For every Three Day Ticket bought a primitive campsite will be included and every 100.00 donation will will recive a Ticket to the main event. A $50.00 donation will include a Poster. Any donation will be accepted and apperciated.The Website for GoodStock will be up and running in a few weeks and you will be able to have all the information on GoodStock and make your donations there.
