there may not be any at the gate after final sales.. I wouldn't take a chance of there not being any.. I would get them asap so I would know I had mine. If you don't have paypal or a cc pm me.

Goodstock peacefest! Awesome. Tomorrow June 21st (summer soltice) Is the beginning of Peacefest. On the Niangua River a few miles from Eldridge MO. Its on the peace conspiracy website. Awesome campitheater called Bird Island.

 

I've been givin' this a lot of thought, and here are my preliminary provisional final thoughts on the "Big Bands" (tm) who are doin' that Summer of Love 40 year thingy ma bobby.

Be cool if they did take one frikkin day out of their busy lives and play at Goodstock, since they're gonna be in the area anyways, but, ya know? If they gotta have money so bad that they blow off the very people who made them big in the first place, well, I'd just as soon see Cruisin' Lou Caruso and Mind Garage (who have one seriously ROCKIN tune linked to at Goodstock Rocks) and all the other folks who'll be there for the love of the music. I've seen 'em all before, anyhoo. And, let's face it, what else are QMS and Jeff Starship and IABD (who I really dig, myself) but cover bands doin' covers of their own early stuff? Who needs 'em? I'll have my BB&THC Cheap Thrills CD with me, and Happy trails and White Bird and After Bathing at Baxters; I'm cool.

I'll get a chance to hear some killer new stuff. None of this "alt-indie" everything sounds the frikkin' same crap. Screw Moron (sp? hahaha) Five; they suck anyways.

I'm ready, babies. All I ask is, keep love in your hearts and alcohol at home. Nothing fucks up a good scene like booze does.

Let me add these words from Owsley Stanley: "Maybe the adulation had done its damage, as it does to most people who become celebrities, I don't know. But I don't think music is about money,. as nice as it is. The majority of musicians don't really make a good living off it. The Dead were indeed lucky in this way" It ain't about the fucking money.

When we started Goodstock2007 back in 05,it was about a reunion, a big party to get together, we thought the nat'ls would rally around GS and support her bc of what she represented. They did not care, they were above all of us, the very ones that made them who they were.. but you are right, they are their own cover bands now.. with not but one or two of the origainal members.


Skip, We did a search on the name Goodstock, there are hundreds of them, ranging from dog kennels to garden acessories, we search WV there was nothing GS there.There is no copyright on the name Goodstock and two yrs ago when we started, the festival in Ky did not come up on a search. Altho Mind Garage was the first to do christain rock, Goodstock2007 Music Festival is not Christian Rock.. not that we are opposed to it in any way, Tribute to Creator is always welcome in any form.

If you buy a ticket this week to Goodstock2007 Music Festival, you'll get a GS poster signed by Artie Kronfeld ( Father Of Woodstock69 ) and all the bands. Think what a Woodstock69 poster signed by Artie and all the WS bands would be worth today. We will also be holding raffles for door prizes. The signed GS poster will be presented to you at the Festival or can be mailed to you. When you buy your ticket go to www.contact@goodstock2007.com and give your conformation number or ticket number to recive a signed poster.

Ppl do change, some for the better and some for the worst, all we can do as individuals is be the best we can be and hope for the best outcome ..looking at things negitively only brings negitivety to you. If you look for something good you will usualy find it, same with bad, cuz everything has both if it is human.

We just want three days, three days is not asking a lot, we want to rock and roll, we don't want politics, we want a gathering with good friends listening to good music. It's everyone else that is throwing in politics of how GS should be handled or spectulating on it's progress ready to pounce on any thing that does not go along with Corporate Control.
I know that dreams are being built upon GS and the ones that are in it for the love, will get love in return.

You seem to have some kind of hard-on about AOS3. There's some back story, apparently. Why don't you clue us all in? I'm always interested in seeing the clay feet my acid gods have. Lets me know that, if these Alchemystical Sacramentalists can get their dicks stuck in their pants, then even someone as evolved and enlightened as I can fuck up. (that's irony, just in case it wasn't self-evident).

 

So, moving right along past the bummer in the summer about AOS3, I read a lot of "oh, man, the gas alone will break me."

I had over 2000 miles on my thumb by August 17, 69 (my 16th b'day, btw). I mean, if'n ya wanna do something, there are ways to do it. 500,000 people didn't converge on Yasgurland or the evil pentagon by sitting around with their bongs goin' "oh, man, I really dig that scene, but I gotta work stockin' the shelves of Frozen Pizza Depot or else they'll fire me."

So fucking what. get fired. It's an educational experience. Lets you know how valuable you really are to those fucks who pretend to be concerned about Mankind by going and resting their fat pig asses in the pews every Sunday, then figuring ways to screw people the other 6.99999 days of the week.

Wake up. Do what YOU wanna do. You wanna go to Goodstock and groove with us, DO IT! Get yer cardboard sign with "Goodstock" on it, and stick yer thumb out. You'll get there. Trust in the Vibe.
