Its possible that only immigrants will have kids in large numbers. In the EU fertility levels for the indigeneous people are dropping massively. Plus there are socio-economic factors which mean that the young population is becoming much more immigrant/Islamic etc.

London is now only 44% white British, acc to "official figures". Many British towns tell a similar story.
The biggest non white or non British groups are Poles, Indians, Pakistanis/Bangadeshis and others.

I think it's nice. As a white person, I'm not afraid of america not looking entirely white. I think that would be rather racist. The outcome of our melting pot should reflect the melting pot that it is, and we should embrace it.

Are you saying America is only great when it's white? Because there has probably never been a day in the history of the Earth that this geographic area was entirely white. Or maybe you're saying it was great when all the races stuck with their own kind? That was a short-lived era...like...maybe 6 or 7 days. White people were probably banging natives as soon as the Mayflower was anchored. And that's not to even mention all of the slave owners who regularly had sex and children with slaves. So this little racially pure utopia you're reminiscing about never really existed and if it did exist for a week...none of us where there to remember it.

why would this be the worst case scenario? I thought all the people featured in the photos were quite attractive. And how is this any different than "white" people in America today who tan really well and have brown eyes and brown hair because they have some Native American or African ancestry?

I see no point to bringing people into the country who have absolutely no interest in being Americans. It's not a melting pot if people don't assimilate into American culture. That seems to be the escalating problem here. People arrive, but they don't want to actually BE Americans. They want to look down their noses at Americans. They like our lifestyle but dislike Americans. So why come here if it's so racist and horrible?

 

I've never really looked at America as white. Definitely not the sports.

 

The problem with stupid Americans is that they expect things to not change or progress. They just want to have the country be their way. By that, I mean those ignorant Republicans who dramatize everything as though they are starring in an amateur high school play.

 

Canada and the US have both been almost 100% immigrant countries from the beginning. Unless you are native american you are related to/are an immigrant. Get over it.

Progress in the US has been amazing for most of its history.

And please don't forget the stupid Americans are remote driving on Mars right now. Prior to that the Americans took 2 cars, to the moon. More people on this planet eat because of stupid American technology than that of any other nation. Can you imagine the effect if they suddenly stopped? THAT would be stupid (and mean). I understand all manner of frustrations with the US government. But the Americans are good people and prove it readily. Most of the political problems in the US are the result of denial. Until people face facts, the frustration will continue.
