WE were just enjoying music. it was mellow. fights broke out though later n it WAS ghetto. philly IS ghetto BUT... unless you SAW the loving crowd control... SAW IT.. like unless you were there.. u cant say people defeated ghetto AND the cops... which is a miracle. mad heads on psycadelics or rolling... how do you expect people to react when you hear a shot and then shit goes down? its a BIG DEAL.

the cops never came in. and i gotta give props to the people in charge not allowing US to be furthered abused because we were partying in the hood .... it coulda been MUCH worse. so yeah it all depends who you know in philly.

 

im defending gangstas? how so? im talkin bout REALITY and defeating thugs... which the underground philly scene can do.

 

Can the scene pick up the trash?

 

if u wanna know about who got shot and why.. it was someone who didnt park in the lot. it was the hood. you have to park in safe, lit areas... they were shot for a laptop. it was one of the dj's.

just wanting thugs to not exist does not change reality.

id love to defend the hood. no one can tho so i guess i dig ya on that.

however it dont mean the producers disfused a potentially WORSE situation with their brains. for that i got respect.

personally i havent gone back.. tho i want to. the whole scene is AMAZING. but i refuse to subject myself to being SHOT... it scared the shit outta me. almost ptsd scared. yer rolling, goin on moon bounces and you HEAR a gun shot and then people crying n hiding... chaos! i love tru skool n the underground scene n think we have every right to go where we want n enjoy ourselves.. but until safety is fixed... i wont go. that said, tru skool is tryin to educate on where u park n shit. you have every right to go where you want but you also have every right to park in lit places that are secure.

 

i rep tru skool at least once a week. ill repost their events cause they are AMAZING. but i havent went back...

people have even tried to get me to go back. it's "safe" now... im glad they got their spot back after the media took it. glad. but as much as i wanted to go back, im not dumb.

 

to me its reality. if you party in the HOOD...ghetto.. park in a lit lot. if you park a block away... away from where there is SAFE parking... well dont expect you'll be okay. it was the sad reality of what happened. producers create safe, lighted places to park for a REASON.
