how can you tell if weed is high quality or if your getting ripped off

 

never had bad weed, so i couldnt tell ya

 

good weed is all crystally, sticky & smells delicious

 

google image search would probably help. or a forum search.

 

Look at how it looks, its like a plant if its brown..then ew gross!
if it has alot of crystals on it, and smells chronic most likely its good!

 

It's about look and feel dude, it's almost common sense.

If it's soft, has a lot of crystals on it, smells sweet, is green, sticky, and a tad bit moist. You've got beautiful fresh bud.

Work from there ^^^^

If it's hard, or really dry, doesn't smell strong, or smells like chemicals just say no thanks.

Try it. I have had some that really looked like poop but gave quite a suprising high.

Basically good weed is the bud of the plant. It's not going to be very leafy... nice big nuggets, lots of crystals, hairy. If it's all broken up with lots of leafy stuff and seeds, then it's not too hot. It's true you don't want it to be too old, but actually the best weed is going to be properly dried which means you can smoke it efficiently without having to hold the lighter on it for 10 seconds to light moist weed. Of course the only real way to know is just to smoke it and see Just smoke for 6 months and buy bags from differently people, and you'll quickly begin to distinguish the quality.

 

If you feel it after 1-2 hits its good, if you dont then not so good. Haha i dont know i just smoked some good Weed!!

 

Shit man, lissin to me some of these cats know somewhat about what there talkin about, but heres what really looking for. Your looking for really cristaly bud (look at the bud in good light). Then Your looking at how Kurred the weed is. That means how wet or dry bud is. Personly I like the stuff thats really dried, one you get a better deal because its dry and your getting more bud out of the deal. Next your looking for smell. Good bud will have a smell of Shit that stinks (the drier the weed the less it smells). Another good thing is the looks, Hairs, cristals and close trimmed bud is always a good deal. I'v seen some shitty ass trimmed nuggets I wouldn't even wana a buy a bag of that shit because them leaves add up in weight really fast. I get crazy lookin shit, so I can be picky, but idn what ever one els gets.

 

Key thinks to look for:

A) Hairs

B) Stickiness/Fluffiness

C) If you can smell the weed through the bag without having to put your face up to it.

D) Crystals.. if you can see the sparkley-goodness from your hand, or if it gets stuck to your fingers when breaking it up.

These are things to tell if your stuff is up to snuff. Happy smoking.

Well everybody has pretty much covered it but ill add one thing, if it is dried and cured right, it will be totally dry and basically all the thc is converted into its psychoactive form. There are a few more little things but they're not very important to this topic.

yea the pic don't do it justice, don't have a digital cam, just a scanner. But you get the idea Tastes like some dank Skunk with a hint of lemony taste or citrus if you will. Very excellent strain. A must try for the avid "pot" smoker. Northern Lights #5 is the name.
