Good vid on OUTDOOR survival

    The video was inspiring but then again i dont know if this was a REAL LIFE EVENT (They were just showing what its like i think) Actually being in the woods might be a much harder event....

    Very good video...... Wish it was more than 9 mins!

    Very interesting video. I've lived in Florida my whole life don't know how I'd adjust to snow in those conditions. I would also suggest digging the ground inside to T-P a foot or two below the outside ground it helps keep heat in and drafts out.

    It ain't "survival" when you can still drive to town and buy gas for your truck. :rolleyes:

    Besides, the Appalachians ain't shit, try that in the Rockies....

    Well, it IS close to accurate. I have no experience with Tipis, so I have no idea how well one would work in the Rockies. I look at the design, and I figure that's just fine for someone that can manhandle the load. Gees, taken down, I think you're looking at close to 300 pounds.

    Survival is worth honing in the wild like he is, but I would make a few changes.
