Listen to music from the late 60's through 70's, that was when recording and mixing/mastering techniques were explored the best i recon.
    Beatles
    Simon and Garfunkel
    David Bowie

or if your into more intense stuff and want a more intense high then get some power metal like Helloween. if your not familiar with power metal, its fast and powerful, but not overbearing like traditional metal. helloween is the band to check out. they have good producers

Am I the only one who thinks Pink Floyd's music is kinda depressing? Don't get me wrong, I like them a lot, but it just seems so melancholy, so cheerless.

Anyways, check out Steve Miller Band, Dave Matthews Band, Jack Johnson, O.A.R., and Virginia Coalition. Pretty much any jam band is pretty chill music if they're good, and classical music is awesome when your stoned.

i agree about floyd. i think their to manodepressive. they have a good message but they bring it out in such a depressing way.
and when i smoke i like "african herbsman" by bob marley. man that song is good. i think im gonna go listen to it right now.

....oh and by the way: anything by bob marley is good in my opinion allways!

The best music i have ever heard stoned comes from a band called "The Folk Implosion." Its the most laid back music ive ever heard. Its just got a stoned happy feeling to it.

sublime, marley, i like only a couple songs by floyd and the beatles, i agree with trippinbtm classical kicks ass high(i remember the first time i saw clockwork orange i thought i was imagining the classical music the whole time), rage against the machine tho? that would be a bit intense for tryin to lay back and chill IMO . LLoyd Banks is pretty chill to listen to, afroman, my friend sent me a couple of songs by kingspade last night and they were pretty sweet.
