While tripping i enjoy the obvious classics - the beatles, jimi, zeppelin, doors, floyd.

But i also enjoy some music you may have not heard of but its awesome shit - portugal the man, thrice, thursday....

MASTODON!!!!!!!!!!!! Listen to "The wolf is loose" seriously, if you can't appreciate that then you can't appreciate the art that is music!
And mastodon is by far the best band the actually admits to using LSD as inspiration, they are extremely talented instrumentally, and anyone who knows anything about making/recording music should appreciate them. The drummer is sick, and the guitars are the same. And the stories behind it all... listen and find out.

    *EDIT*
tool/a perfect circle (if your a fan you know) IS THE SHIT, i like a perfect circle better but either way its good music and you can't deny it, whether maynard is on opiates or not, it is awesome!

appreciate them ? im guessing you meant a different word because thinking that anyone who doesnt 'appreciate' mastodon must not have intricate knowledge of producing recordings is disgraceful. i have no desire to listen to any kind of metal sober.. much less so during a trip

Stereolab makes some good music for psychedelics IMO. I am on a low dose of one now and just listened to their newest album, which is good.

Yeah. I wish I had my bass with me now, but I left it at my parents the last time I visited them. Oh well.

This song plays at my work all the time and I actually stopped to listen to the lyrics and it's very psychedelic. Not to mention it has a kickass solo and riff :D
