I find it hilarious that in most aspects of life, wishing someone good luck is a good thing and people really appreciate the good vibes, but when I was in high school, in speech and drama you didn't wish someone luck unless you wanted your face pounded. You had to say, "Break a leg" instead. Was that just something stupid our area did or is that common in the world of performing arts?
i thought that was just a performing arts thing? i however am not nor have never been much for theater.
Theatre (spelled that way especially for Nesta ) was my outlet in high school and it brought me out of my shell and had a huge part in creating the person I am today. I loved it. Theatre kept me from being overly emo and for that, I am grateful.
They do that everywhere, at least here in Gringolandia. I do not wish people good luck, I tell them to toughen up or to make it happen.
I am rather a ditz in that if I don't notice some of the handles have not been about in a while, I usually don't see the date until long after I have posted rather OLD advice.
