i just popped a 4-leaf clover in the mail for trish, and i'm sending her an extra one. trish, when you get my letter, keep your clover in your purse or wallet, and pass the second one along to someone else from the hip forums. tell whoever you send it to to pass it along to someone else from the forums when they get it, and so on. let's see how much good luck we can spread around the forums. we can track the clover here, and if anybody gets it who doesn't know anyone to send it to, they can post here, and send it to anyone who PMs a response. btw, i found 2 more 4-leaf clovers this morning, bringing my total since march up to 20! trish, post here when ou get the clovers and tell us who you're sending it to! peace and good luck!
i have lots of 4-leaf clovers! i always find them; it's my mutant power! this year i've found more than usual. i've found 20 4-leaf clovers in parks, lawns, growing by the side of the road... the herbalist at my food co-op says that the plants around here are showing amazing, lush growth like he's never seen before, possibly because of the heat and the rain. he thinks everything is just growing like crazy, even putting out extra leaves. (he also said that lisa simpson would be deeply disturbed and taking it as a warning of some impending environmental crisis!)
i found 6 5-leaf clovers this year, but most of them i either gave to strangers or my kids, or else were lost in the book when i tried to press them. 5-leaf clovers are lucky, but you have to give them away. oh yeah, and cunningham's encyclopedia of magickal herbs says they draw money when you wear them.
Damn it! Is it too late? That was like almost two years ago.... I think I still have it taped in my diary under huge letters that say: THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!!!
I don't remember specifics...I just remember thinking at the end of the day that finding a five leaf clover must give you really bad luck and I cursed it.
