Good herbal remedy/relief for kennel cough?

Does anyone have any good holistic/herbal remedies for kennel cough? I work in the animal care industry and a few people have been asking me about more natural ways to take care of kennel cough or something for relief. I have read a bit in books but would like a recipe from someone who has personally used it.
