It's about a 200 mile drive, but no haven't been there. But I once knew some guys from Mobile Al., who had a band named "Wet Willie". They recorded there and had some great party stories. I understand the folks in Muscle Shoals are restoring and saving a lot of the old sites. Peace, poor_old_dad
That place has alot of great musical history-Many people hung out and recorded there-The late great Duane Allman used to hang there-Man -I miss that guys work-Extra/ ordinary!
Robspace - No, I don't get out much except to travel. Vision problems leave me fearful of driving at night. Bummer 'cause there's much I would like to do, not the least of which is to go down to a drum circle on Saturday nights in town. Funny.... going to Vancouver BC is less of a problem than driving at night. Hahaha what a strange universe.
