MLK's message is now considered racist by today's ridiculous standards.

The reason that is considered racist by todays standards, is because the idea is being pushed that EVERYONE deserves to be judged equal regardless of if the individual has poor character.

I dont think thats correct. I agree with MLK. If you have poor quality character I will judge you on that and your skin color is irrelevant.

Its more inclusive. Its like a bunch of normal people treating each other as normal people.

But the left wants there to be very clear and strong boundaries keeping seperate groups of people apart but forcing it on them that all people in all groups are exactly the same.

When it comes to whites and blacks in general, there is far more hostility from blacks towards whites than vice versa. But the media generally only covers white on black violence as to not go against their own narrative that white people are inherantly racist and evil.

Perhaps there is nobody more to blame for the bad behavior of a rather large number of black people than white liberals.

Sure I grew up in a predominately upper middleclass white community. But that doesn’t mean I didn’t have friends and other relatives who were not so fortunate.
Relatives who lived in substandard housing and low income neighborhoods, that I visited frequently and had that shared experience of being black and living in America.

Less fortunate? Do you believe fortune smiled upon you? Or is it more likely your parents decided what they wanted for themselves and their children, finished school, didn't have children out of wedlock and got a job, setting themselves up for success in a country where that plan works.

 

I put it in quotes because it doesn't reflect the way that I experience their behavior. But I think many African-Americans, be it looking for a loan or mortgage, or looking for work, have reason to legitimately fear their outcomes at the hands of the dominant race, if you will.

I feel like the media has a habit of characterizing African-Americans as criminals. Sure there are exceptions to the rule, but by and large, it's something on that draws a question about the content of their character. I don't think that the current state of affairs, with regard to discrimination in the workplace, in mortgage or loan offices, is acceptable in any way.

Unless a black person has a criminal record or they look like your stereotypical gang banging thug, they're not going to have problems getting a job. The same thing would apply to a white person who has a criminal record. In today's politically correct society, most places are looking to hire minorities because of so-called Affirmative Action and such, which in itself is racist.

I don't think the media goes out of their way to portray blacks as criminals (at least not circa 2018), but if they did it would not exactly be far fetched as black people DO commit more violent crimes than whites on average. Simple statistics.
