Going to start growing soon

Well, I've finally decided that I'm going to grow myself a few plants for my own personal use. I'm not sure how I'm going to grow, whether it be indoors or outdoors. If anyone can throw me some good links to look at before starting, that would be awesome. I'm doing a bit of research to figure out what to buy, how to grow, etc. but would like to make sure I'm on the right track. If you live in the northern hemisphere, it's too late to grow outside until spring (planting)/fall (harvesting) of '06

 

Alright, sounds good. Well I've narrowed it down to indoor growing now

Not sure if I should do it hydroponically, or in soil. Any extreme differences between the two?

 

For a beginner I recommend soil, it's more forgiving of beginner's mistakes

 

Awesome, thanks. I figure soil would be a bit cheaper and easier as well for a beginner, or at least I am assuming it would be. Going to read up some more on this. Still haven't decided what strain I'm going to grow, or where I'm going to buy. But there seems to be a lot of respectable retailers on the net. Seems like the best way to go.

Thanks for the links, they will sure come in handy. I've now been looking at some shops that sell seeds, and what type of seeds I'm going to buy. Would anyone be willing to PM me some info as to where you bought your seeds? I'm not sure how many of these shops are legit, but so far most of them seem fine. I just want to be sure I'm going to actually recieve the product before I drop some money on it.

As far as I know they don't deliver to USA but
Canada is fine. Check their site to familiarise
yourself with the strains.
