I was speaking more about your stereotyping in general. It's just like you have very limited or no actual personal experience with pot, so some of the stuff you say humors me.

I dont get bent out of shape about spelling or grammar mistakes, everyone makes them. But when the persons posts are consistently incoherent and without any structure it makes me question their literacy.

 

I guess I shouldnt have said "if that's Rainbow" because I am sure there are a ton of you that are great people. I'm sure HHB has a lot of good in him as well if you get to know him, and he gets to know you.

But I still say that a lot of people on here kiss his ass (despite the fact he is a total dick most of the time) because he plays the Rainbow card.

 

why is it that just because you are blunt and don't sugar coat what you say you are considered an asshole or a dick? Thats all HHB does- says what he means without beating around the bush. He is an awesome guy and if you ever hung out with him in person- you would realize that what he says takes on a different meaning in the WAY he says it. I dunno its hard to explain. But ya can't hate on a guy for being honest!

 

I've never personally smoked pot. But I work in IT, I've seen a LOT of people on dope.

Including the window washing crew that put their ladder through the window of a BMW cause they were high, man. These same people had spent the day 14 stories up on a scaffold without a belt. Darwin waiting to happen.

 

I was never hating on him, but he still needs to cool it with the insults. I know, he will say that they are not insults, just "words on a screen", but they are still of a derogatory nature and could definitely be re-worded to, not only sound like a nicer person, but also to get his point across better.

 

When you get to be as old as we are, you tend to talk a bit more directly.

 

The point is that you can be direct without being insulting.

Yeah, honesty is a good quality. So are empathy, sympathy, compassion, sensitivity, and tact.

Listen, my first contact with MJP was him coming into the parenting forum to lecture ME on how to deal with kids and drugs, e.g.

1) Let me do whatever I want
2) Give me the money to do whatever I want
3) No matter what the risk to me or you cause I feel good and that's all that matters.

I pointed out that he was wrong and acting like an immature wasteoid.

Since then he's posted a litany of woe - this drug is costing him his money, time, parents and now he's listening to some of you suggest he takes a baseball bat to someone's head. Ever seen what a bat will do to someone's head?

If he's gonna do this stuff he'd better grow up and grow up fast and sometimes you need to be blunt when saying it, especially to some whiny wet behind the ears little baby.

Supposedly he's a genius on his way to MIT or something, but his grades suck and he can't spell.

MJP: get off the dope or your life will consist of frying things for a living and dying alone. You cannot handle this.

He doesn't need compassion and huggy feely crap. He needs a good solid hard kick up the arse.
