My proof of god has always been the total lack of any explanation of how it all was created in the beginning and how time itself began.

What we define as reality is totally within the boundaries of the mind percieving it.

It's hard, nigh on impossible to prove just from physical observation that there is a world stored inside of each one of our heads... yet it is something that is widely agreed upon.. we just *know*. Same sort of concept applies to god in my view.

How do we know Red is really Red? By this I mean how do we know that we all see Red in the same way perhaps Chameleon's Red is really my Blue...Thats always bothered me!

    I've always wondered that...

I think everyone has their own reality. That we have created it through experiences since birth.

So you have your color red... even though its on the same wavelength as my color red... we just see them differently.

    THe thing is tho...

Describing color to someone who has been blind since birth... how would you do that?

So you did know that .9 repeater is exactly the same as 1. I only learned that last year. But then I am a mere peon. Not 'all-knowing' like you.
Since some members may not see why that is, could you explain it?
And, hate to nag, but since atheists are so fond of the 'who made God' thing, I really do want to know what happened before the big bang.
And as for dumbass, I have been called far worse, and besides, your comments say more about you than me anyway.

The Navajo have a saying, "You can't wake up someone who is pretending to be asleep."
I have no problem understanding the reasoning behind atheism. If I hadn't experienced maybe a couple dozen particular things in my life, I would have no trouble accepting that spirits, souls, magic, miracles, the afterlife, etc. were not real. But I did, so I can't. My fiance is an atheist. She's never claimed that she is right and I am wrong, though. Always, she gives me the benefit of the doubt, and offers a chance (slim), that there is something to this paranormal stuff. That's why I'm marrying her. I love that.

Shit, give me some evidence that it is even POSSIBLE. That's all I'm saying.

Not just emotions and our perceptions of them or attributing remission of cancer to Jeezus either.

So, if we're all just as ignorant as each other, why is it wrong to believe something that isn't controlled by reason and logic? The whole problem, which god is the answer to, was created by logic. Is logic the only answer to a problem logic created?
