Nope, Meagain is a moderator and I was just trying to keep you from being banned. But please don't listen to me, just carry on as usual, ignoring what has been said and falsely accusing others. I'll continue the conversation in another thread, when you come back from being banned. [IMG]

The image that I see is both is both male and female creative principle. In addition this image is self affirming, that is the world appears to us as we claim.
The creative principle of the life of man is thought, conception.

I have said that the thought comes first. The relevance of this statement is that all human activity emerges according to conception, belief being one of the many creative conceptions that we afford ourselves. It is at the level of belief or conception that deleterious actions are unraveled. Action follows conception. We act naturally and unequivocally in accord with our conceptual model of the world.

Woopty-do. You sure have a talent for taking fragments of scriptures, jamming them together and making them almost meaningless.
    I believe I just did.
No they are not, You are again being mislead.
Okay, I didn't say or imply that either.
    Really. [IMG]

But an inanimate machine can throw one, if that is what it was created to do.
Perhaps but too bad your spirit guide has his hands over those eyes.
    Close but no cookie.
If only that were true, in your case.

I make the connection required for relevancy. If meagain feels differently then I anticipate that it will be known. I think you are trying to shut me out by hook or crook because this conversation exposes the mental lapse you entertain.

Disputing your claim and exposing what it represents is not accusing anybody of anything. I do so in the interest of having an adult conversation about these subjects.

So in effect banning yourself from this thread?

I am grateful for your enthusiasm, but I thought you done.
You believe in books that say things and discern things. You have not and if you described in detail what you believe you have done, it would be apparent that you had not.
Yes they are. Each and every one represents the aspirations of reverent men.
These aspirations given cultural peculiarity appear different in form but they substantially represent the same impulse.
You said the bible was not just any book and you described it as having supernatural qualities.

The bible is just any book in the sense that it is a storage device for symbols, an inanimate object.

Again, placing an additional inanimate object into your reasoning, does not give the inanimate, animation.
What do any of these three responses have to do with the subject of the thread..
    .
    Who as in persons.

Once again, even if I have the "mental lapse" you claim, my "mental lapses" are not the topic of this thread, not even close.

You are correct in asking; "What do any of these three responses have to do with the subject of the thread.." In actuality, done of what we have been discussing has anything to do with the thread and so unless you wish to discuss the OP with me, I'm begging off. :)

I don't understand the relevance? What I meant was if God made man in his image, then volatile and emotional - two traits that have plagued humanity since its beginning could well be attributed to God. Not necessarily, but perhaps.

Volatile and emotional are a plague?

Ignorance leads to desperate or disparate emotion.

Emotion is the psychic equivalent of physical volatility. Our nerves are worn on by the friction we encounter in life. This friction is caused by the temptation to have illusion be real.

The sun is volatile and it's volatility is responsible in largest part to our well being. Our autonomous sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems are for us, but we must learn to master them.

Grandeur is not always tame but grandiosity, one way or the other, is always lame.

Yeah ok. It occured to me he was joking... but I wanted to be sure we were on the same page.

No, but they do plague us.

one man who reads the bible experiences god through
words and also through time . the psychedelic mind is engaged
positively , sensitively , spinning . the man may have faith
that this mind is protected by god . to speak from this mind
    to the world
    oh , is a skill .

a master of time can prove god .

The thought comes first. The emotion is a response to a stimulus conceptualized. An errant perception creates an inappropriate or disproportionate emotional response.

Emotions aside from being unpleasant, are also perceived as being sublime.

It is the misapprehension of what is so that plagues us. When we thought disease was a supernatural effect, plagues ran rampant.

I see, so if I understand you correctly you're saying it's not emotions themselves that are the problem but how we respond to them. Sure, I agree with that.

Who? Time cannot be doctored. Loved though...we have it in us to love our time to distraction! :) God has only ever been created in our own image, so have we had enough yet? lol

Let's not even become gods, but ourselves altogether.

A vain imagining. I did not create my parents in my image although I do create my images. I try to avoid images of god and find the good of all things which truly transcends time or place.

We are godlike. Let us be in our right mind.
