    The coverage of this in Britain tended to emphasize how the world's richest nation could be compared to a third world country in it's lacklustre treatment of it's poorest & most socially deprived citizens.
    It was like if you are poor: it doesn't matter where in the world you live.No-one is in any great hurry to help you.
    That Levee was always going to break all the authorities knew it.The fact that it would flood the poorest areas of New Orleans & not 'The French Quarter' wasn't overlooked.
