Gnosticism

The gnostics themselves probably didn't refer to themselves as "gnostics" this like most religious terminology came later on named by other people.

Its just that gnostics, try to have an appeal to all people that the gnosis transcends all beleifs, and is the same knowledge all philosophies and religions seek. It is a beleif that any person from any background can acknowledge.

As for its relation to paganism, all paganism can be traced back to Babylon and the fertile crescent moreover to the Annunaki. ET beings mislabeled as gods throughout the ages that physically mutated us genetically, look up one of reefer or I's posts about them. This is the origin of all the pagan gods and goddesses since humanity migrated with these original beliefs after the flood. Now if you don't believe this just look at how China, Mexico, and the fertile crescent all had a boom in civilazation around the same time, all with very similar beleifs of alien gods, and a returning saviour. All of the Annunaki gods were just simply re-arranged by the European Pagans The greeks,Romans,Norse,Germanic,, except for the goddess worshippers in Gaul and Ireland who were basically GNOSTIC, seeing as how gnosticism regards the holy Sophia as the holy female that created the demi-urge, and the female wife of Christ, and how the druids practice a basically GNOSTIC version of initiation rites for direct contact with the divine.
Now since all of the polytheistic gods of pagan cultures originated with the annunaki, and morphed through time and lost truth. The mystery cults that existed in Babylon and transfered to Egypt, TAUGHT THE GNOSIS, TAUGHT ALCHEMY OF THE WHITE AND BLACK FACTIONS. The spiritual and material. It was all a means of initation and rites, that thru ego death or other means of fear inciting awareness, or psychadelic experience a desired result could be achieved. This is how Gnosis relates to paganism. The cultures keeping gnosis as the highest ideal of knowledge in the priesthood, was taught by these alien creator gods one especially, Enki, Thoth,Hermes,mercury. THe messenger and knowledge giver are always the same in the pagan religions. After Egypt which was the last known world empire at its height (even though the known world was miniscule) broke into either attempting to learn the gnosis, or worshipping the gods that taught it, and created us, and mimicking their Hierarchy. Then the monotheisms lied and said they were aiming for gnosis, but basically just instigated complete, mental and spiritual slavery. Out of this is where the gnostic cults of the mid east arose in the times of Jesus Christ. Out of the missmash of crap (monotheisms and Paganisms) that came after the end of Egypt and the Exodus of the Wisdom, and backbone of the commercial agenda of the Pharoahs the Hebrews.

 

Can't recall now where I found this pic. However, it's been around for some time as I first saw it back in the 70's in a book. I think it's meant to show the famous if non-existent 'shperes' of ptolemaic philosophy. It looks to me like a kind of seeing of the mechanisms behind the visible universe.


However, quaint is it is, I don't myself think that the world is evil and inimical to mankind, or that it was created by a lower power, or that our best course is to seek to escape from it.

And, yes, if you read certain bible passages with the expectation that it will be sci-fi, it's not hard to see how many people thought Ezekiel and others saw UFOs. Dude I took a full year of Anthropology before I dropped out of college, so you want anthropological proof? How about the disappearing Neanderthal occurence? Well the Norse gods are just re-written as the old gods, its all connected, based off the same shit. Just because I beleive in the gnosis, doesn't mean I follow it completely. Everyone has the same gnosis, it's an individual thing, which is why religion itself is petty and worthless. Each person has their own way of achieving the gnosis, rather through death, conscious awakening, or mushrooms, and other ways of achieving enlightenment on Earth. The point of the thread was that Gnonis is the underlying base for all religions. Religions themselves are just copies of all this, mixed together, added and subtracted.

The creation myth, the norse mythology, sumerian mythology, paganism, christianity, islam, etc etc....They all stem from the same thing, the knowledge that we have yet to control fully. This is the gnosis, which was the point. Gnosticism might not go along with everyone's ideals, but it's not supposed to. Organized Gnosticism itself is an oxymoron. I myself don't have an exact definition of paganism seeing as how it itself is mash of so many different things. Basically it's just worship of mother earth, that's how I see it. Spirits in everything connecting to a greater diety, the Gaia, connecting to the father spirit, the creator of the universe (this is what I call God). That is my understanding of paganism. Paganism itself is an important part of the Gnosis, for you must respect mother nature, seeing as how we all come from Earth in the form of minerals and elements, only found in mother earth. But we were torn from these roots by the Annunaki, and our dna was altered and turned into this confusing blob of existence called humanity. The lesser demiurge is what disconnects us from this, and the gnosis is as close as we can get to the spirit of the father god, but by using all the ideas of religion, including paganism, the worship of the Earth we descend from, and transforming that into complete understanding. That is my belief of gnosis.

All of this connected, to yes, Aliens. Seeing as how the definition of alien is something having characteristis or belonging to something not native. These are what modern God, the demiurge. You see how it's all connected?

You just didn't get the fact that the annunaki were all the other gods rewritten through time. Due to migration of the people after the flood. If you don't beleive in the flood, then howabout just any sort of cataclysm. If you don't believe in that, then well you can't believe in the dinosaurs either. You have to say that science is making up how these creatures look and their fossils. Science and Religion meet at hte point of a global cataclysm, somewhere in the near past.
