    I'm putting this thread in "politics" because sadly, global warming and global climate change have become issues of political partisanship rather than the strictly scientific issues that they are.

    It's common for people who oppose the scientific consensus on climate issues to point out how the term "global climate change" replaced "global warming" in the media, and it is commonly (and incorrectly) inferred that this represents and inconsistency.     In our new paradigm. Weather is being controlled to a certain extent. But natural forces by & large. Take a hand. This is why. Things aint so ez to predict. As they once were. Sadly, innocent lives are lost.
