    So far the American icebreaker has not yet reached them, so they are still lodged in the ice.

    It must be pretty rough for the crew as it is not exactly a holiday trip and time must be really long when things like this happen. I am sure there are also a lot of dangers that lay people would not know of. I would think they would have excess supplies on board, I sure hope so.
