I will always remember him from this song that was a favorite of mine growing up.....I never paid too much attention to him, other than this song, though.....
He was an apple cheeked cowboy, wasn't he?

That's sad. I remember a lot of his songs on the radio growing up as a kid. He will be missed...

 

The theme song of the Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour was John Hartford's Gentle On My Mind. A song I've always liked, but I have to say that Hartford did it much better.

 

Good music. Sad, but we're all headed that direction.
