I'm sure some sort of Banana related meeting can be arranged....

Manic Street Preachers likely to be playing according to efestivals. Looking forward to seeing them again. Saw them in 2003, but have listened to them a lot more since then....

It's a bitch that I can't camp out in the public camping fields; I have to camp in the staff place.:(

I think I'm going to get some weed and pills to take there with me; I don't want to go through the hassle of having to look for them. I'd rather look for shrooms or some other stuff.

Yeah that is a bugger, we'll swap numbers closer to the time so we can have a jaw grinding session up by the stones at night....

The ideal solution would be to have a small spare tent to set up in the festival. I'm sure you'll be able to crash in someone's tent though, or more likely stay up all night anyway... I shan't be doing any jaw grinding. The campsite is quite a walk from where the hipforums camp usually is, which is a bit of a bugger, but at least the toilets are clean, there's a canteen and there are showers!

What if you get something stuck in your teeth? Now you'll have to stick by your promise not to grind your jaw and hope someone has a toothpick....

Also, Jonny might have a spare tent. If he does, he could bring it along and we could set it up as a crash pad for you two if you want to stay over at our end of the site....

So do you workers know exactly where you're camping yet? Have you been assigned a spot or something? I ask as I'm working myself, but read somewhere that even the workers campsite is broken up.

Those of us working for DD have a camp just outside the fence, I think you're working as a litter picker? You'll be in Tom's field I think it's called but are probably free to camp anywhere within the festival grounds.

    Ahh right. Cheers :)

Aye, that's canny then. I may be able to camp with you's after all. I'm arriving on Wednesday night anyway, plenty of time to sort it all out.

I've just been looking at the map at the Glasto site. Staff and Crew camping looks as far away from the action as the hipforum camp is, that's my main concern, being shattered just from the walk to work!

Yeah the staff camping is all up at the top of the hill across the valley from where Sal and other hipforumers usually camp! Couldn't be further away. It's probably the nicest public camping up on Pennard's Hill where the traditional hipforums camp is, and it's close to the stones. I don't mind being in the staff camping because it's close to work if you have early morning starts, and frankly I've never been into the public toilets at Glastonbury and don't think I'd want to! Having access to clean toilets is bliss!

Bokonon's camped with us before I think, in 2004 if I remember rightly. Yeah, it's a bit far out, but it's ideal for the night time festivities and it's also in one of the least likely areas you'll get your stuff stolen....

Aye I camped with you 2004. My first ever festival in fact. And it was grand to have folk come and meet me and show me around and that. I remember I came in and a steward showed me to this one foot high barrier which I was told I couldn't cross. Sal rightly points out that I'd come far enough already and although against the rules I couldn't not just step over this walkway!

Aye, wey aye :) I'll camp over with ya's. T'was good fun last time.

I'll PM you my number. It might also be a good idea to get Jonny2Mad and Kat's numbers. Actually I'll PM you them too, I'm sure they won't mind. At least one of us should have our phones on. Then if you can remember roughly where we were, then we'll wave to you. If not, then we'll come and meet you at the gate or something....

Kind of you to offer, sir. But that's alright, I'm sure I'll find my way to the general area. Are any of you even going for the early bird ticket? As like I say, I should be getting there 9ish on the Wednesday. Mightn't be a soul there!

And you, Kat :) I can't remember if I even saw any bands with you last time. We should remedy that this year!

No she's a poo, but sometimes goes by the name of Kat. Are you going to be getting in at 9 in the morning or evening? I'll be getting in sometime in the afternoon on Wednesday. There will be lots of people there by Wednesday....
