just found this on the bbc http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music/news/20050118_glasto.shtml seems like glasto will be even more expensive
Uhoh. What even counts as photo ID? I don't have a passport or driving licence. DO you think they'd accept my school library card? *thinks* or my NUS card?
It's certainly a shame, Glastonbury's my favourite weekend of the year. Ahh well, all I can say is, what a Beautiful Day, hey hey!
It's a good way of planning things out though. 2006 was going to be the year I would have had to have missed anyway. How considerate of them to include me in their plans
maybe we could have a gathering down at the glasto site on the days in would have been there in 2006 .. just a thought .. of course we could halve the ticket costs for those struggling to find the cash
The point i think of cancelling was to give the locals a break from it all.. so give them a break from it all http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/somerset/4182773.stm
oh well, i was actually thinking of going in 2006, cos this year i'm off to southamerica in the summer. i guess i'll have to wait til 2007
Glastonbury simply isn't a festival I'm interested in attending at all now. Yeah sure it may well be a great time but I can have just as a good a time by spending far less money on a much more accessible ticket. Still not sure if I will be attending a festival this year. :H
whats wrong with going in 2005 everybody? im just worried about getting a ticket for this year. how bad is it for it to be going on with you not there than not going on at all you could at least do some european fests in 06 and give the fields a break for a year. also people did get in without tickets last year.
v just sold out in a few hours there may be some tickets left but I would think they will be gone later today . who intends trying to get glastonbury tickets if you do post and we can all be on msn on the night
Glastonbury should be banned man. It upsets the creatures of the area. We should turn that guy with the upset down head, beavis or whatever his name is, over to the militant vegans.
Dear Mr U. Depths, With regards to your "Eavis/Beavis" reference, Please find your own jokes in the future. Regards, Patrick McCrotch (Mr Cheesegrater's solicitor)
wooo waaa woooo Bring on Glastonbury!!! Must must must get tickets or i shall be very dissapointed!!!! ooh 'Koolaid' are you any chance on the psy forum?
