I think bass is what makes songs so great when high, so anything with good, quality bass. (Smoke City good bass band)

And Some Alabama Thunder Pussy or Pantera is ok every now and then, just as background music.

Led Zeppelin is great as well. Especially Dazed and Confused on the BBC Sessions cd, its like 18 minutes long and full of all sorts of "out there" sounds.
